ARTIST STATEMENT: Created at a time where I experienced a fracturing of identity. Relocation to city life introduced conditions of sensory overload, stress, anxiety, pressure, and chaos. Disconnect from nature separated the harmonious flow and natural state of being. A beautiful rainbow of vibrant, concentrically aligned, and gently blending colors was suddenly ruptured into disjointed shards struggling to fit together in a radically new environment.
