THE STORY BEHIND WHY I MADE THIS ARTWORK:
I created this painting after a trip to British Columbia, Canada. The lush forests and mountains felt calming and peaceful. The ethereal fog and cloudy skies felt cozy and tucked in. I felt grounded and deeply connected to nature. Close encounters with eagles was a highlight. The artwork captures that feeling memories to be cherished.
Within the stillness and silence, two pairs of watchful eagle eyes see what lies below from a different perspective.
As humans, we often say, “hindsight is 20/20,” or “if only I had known then what I know now.” We are often so wrapped up with current realities that we rarely step back to gain perspective.
In this busy life, we get lost in the fog, too focused on navigating through the trees.
What if we can find an easier way, by simply stepping back and observing... and suddenly, the freedom and clarity appears.
A reminder to allow ourselves the eagle moments now, to step away from the busy-ness, to find perspective in nature.
